This problem can be caused by: - Moving the ESL between machines with different times (and dates).
- Running game software that corrupts the time/date setting on the machine.
- Some type of software crash that corrupts the time/date setting on the machine.
You should make it a habit to check the time/date setting on your machine, as many processes depend on this being correct.
To resolve this issue, perform the following steps: - Start the program and click past the error message. This will leave you on the Main Menu.
- Pull down the "ESL" menu and select the option to "Generate access codes".
- E-Mail these codes to COADE, and state in the e-mail that you're getting error 5100.
- We will respond with the necessary reauthorization codes to reset the time/date stamp on the ESL.
- When you receive these codes, you need to go back to the "ESL" menu and select the option to "Enter reauthorization codes".
- Enter the four codes on the first line of the grid and click [OK]. You should be all set from here.
