Hello Stress engineers,

I am finding method that can consider the nozzle flexibility at top nozzle attached on head in the vertical type vessel.

I have two questions.

First, when vessel direction and nozzle direction is same and nozzle flex type is Custom, how do we need to consider nozzle flex in Caesar II? I know stiffness values for Axial, Inplane, Outplane and Torsion. But, Caesar II shows an error message because vessel and nozzle has same direction.

Second, when vessel is vertical type and nozzle is at top, how do we need to input stiffener and Opposite stiffener? because nozzle is not located on between stiffeners, I can not input both cells.

I added simply file for my question.
I will wait for advise from specialists.
