Is it possible to implement this in piping stress analysis software?

Or this is already implemented?

I believe, the friction stiffness is only applied at the first iteration, and depending on the outcome if the pipe will slip or stick, the force method will be used in the subsequent iterations until convergence is achieved from the criteria being set.

However, I believe, the resilient friction restraint approach will always use the friction stiffness at each iteration, in which it will be derived from the displacement/friction force at the current state (and the friction stiffness will be used on the next run) until convergence and stability are achieved.

Warm Regards,
