Hi All,
Looking for some guidance when modelling subsea pipework.
There are certain sections i am modelling that are submerged but shielded from any wave loads. Currently I am switching wave off for these sections. However when wave is turned off, Caesar does not take subtract the external pressure for the code check.
I want to check that the best way to work around this is by reducing the internal pressure at the shield sections? (ie manually subtracting the external pressure)
Also, am i right in assuming that because WAVx has been specified in the load-cases, buoyancy is considered throughout? Even though I am switching between wave on and off?
Thanks
