This is with reference to the RELIEF example available in Caesar for dynamic analysis of Relief valve.
The corresponding write up in the Caesar manual mentions that typing a hash(#)against the name of the Spectrum means that shock table will be read from ASCII file.
I do have an option to generate an independent spectrum without the mark #.
My query is what does the Hash (#) actually do?? How is the HAsh spectrum different from the one without Hash(#) for the same Force Vs Time profile.
I tried generating a spectrum with both styles (with # and without #) and there was a marked difference in the spectrum curve in both cases. Hence the question to know the difference between the two.
