The roof-to-shell junction is limited to the internal pressure it can sustain. The equations are simple, and are basically 'code' equations that can be used quickly. The actual pressure the junction can sustain is anybody's guess. I am puzzled where you found a reference to MAWP and MAWPV. Where did you see that?
