Is it possible that when modifying the centerline location of the beam the program actually places a second beam?
I think the modifying of the beam centerline is the key to the issue.
Has anyone else had this happen? I will ask the designer to try and re-produce what you have done, Vanman.

However, if I double-click the beam and change the centerline location to the top the beam is then split as it was originally.
