Is there a gap on this guide?
If not, replace your restraint for this guide with a displacement set. Enter displacements only for the direction(s) where the structure/guide assembly imposes these displacements. You might want to use a distinct displacement group if you wish to segregate this displacement from others. For example, if this structure motion is caused by wind instead of thermal growth and you have other thermal growth to model, use D1 (to go with T1) for the thermal movement and assign your structure displacements to, say, D4; you can then build that wind case as WIN1+D4.
If there is a gap, model the guide as a restraint with a gap and specify a connecting node (CNode) for that restraint. Specify displacements like above but assign these displacements to that same CNode.
Review the results to confirm your model is correct.
