Hello:

I am struggling to build a model using CAESAR for a Neoprene Reinforced Hose as interconnected piping between two pumps ( about 200 psig of operating pressure and 50 deg C of operating temp). The option I could think it is use bellow option with input of stiffness, but remove the effective area, so it would not be considering pressure thrust effect. Not sure if it is a correct approach.
Also I like to confirm that it is correct to not consider pressure thrust effect on pump nozzle . Based on my understanding, the hose extends when it is pressurized and it might expand when it is getting hot. I am wondering how to calculate the impact of displacement due to thermal and pressure on the pump nozzle.

It will be appreciated if anyone could share your knowledge and experience on hose design.
