Take care of what?

Look, CAESAR II is a collection of program modules - it is not one giant monolithic blob. Depending on where you are, sometimes you want the job files compressed, sometimes you don't. There are a number of posts on this subject that you can find using the [Search], but to summarize:

1) When you're working on a given job, those files are uncompressed.
2) The only time a job's files are compressed is when you
---- a) switch jobs, or
---- b) close CAESAR II completely

The reasoning for this is that when you're sitting on the Main Menu, we have no idea what you want to do with the job next. Why would you want it compressed, only to have the software decompress it on the next action?

If you don't like "company.txt", edit that file and put your company name there - that is what it's for.
