Here is quick look to compressor analysis FYI:

1- Calculate mechanical natural frequencies of piping system.
2- Calculate acoustic natural frequencies of piping system for any anticipated gas conditions.
3- Calculate compressor harmonics (RPM/60 times N, N=1,2,3,...,10)
4- There must be 10% to 20% seperation between above frequencies.

These may eliminate resonance. But the following analysis must be done by compressor's vendor as min. requirements.

1- Above mentioned frequency calculations.
2- Pulsation analysis (API 618).
3- Harmonic shaking force analysis (by CAESAR II).

Please note that the accurate CAESAR II model must be use to calculate natural frequencies. All piping branches, steel structure pipe supports, etc. must be modeled carefully.
I've done a couple of compressor piping vibration jobs by using BOS Fluids and CAESAR II, but you should have a good experience in CAESAR II dynamic analysis as well.
