Dear all,
I am doing stress analysis for a Circulating water system of a power palnt.there are 5 pumps,4 working and one stand by.Each capacity is 8.333 m3/s and pump discharge nozzle diameter is 1800 mm dia and 12 mm thicknees.Pump manufacturer does not provide the alllowable nozzle load.Can any one tell me what will be approximate allowable nozzle load.
Is there any code which gives allowable nozzle load for 400NB dia and above for a pump?
