Hello Everybody,

I am working on a project, storage facility for hydrocarbons. At dyke wall penetrations Client is asking to use Link-Seal as a Sealant. Dyke is for 3 API tanks. Hence from the outermost tank to reach dyke, pipe has to travel some distance. I asked Link Seal vendor to provide information on allowable Lateral, Axial angular movements & coefficient friction to determine location of stopper in dyke wall piping. But Vendor do not have any data about this. But wisely he said” Link seal is a seal & not a movable plug.” Hence to provide no movements at Link Seal I may have to give additional flexibility to 36” 60deg.C.operating pipe.Inturn Link seal is dictating pipe routing.

Does any of forum member have previously used link seal at Dyke wall & if so what are the considerations for analysis & assumptions

Thank you & Regards
