Hello everyone. I searched my issue in this forum and other place. But I could not find a satisfactory answer.

Pipe is 48" and connected to top of vent nozzle of the vessel. I supported pipe near to top with hanger. Hanger node is 280 and CNode is 281. A weightless rigid connect to node 281 from the center of the vessel. I applied this method to all supports. But I confused. Whole vertical pipe is moving to up along with vessel. Does it true?

i think you have to use a simple rest as high as possibile, near the column top elevation.

using a spring hanger can create problems. what if load is not right? you will exceed max nozzle loads for torsion and weight....

Do you think in Caesar the modeling of the supports I made from the tank is correct? For example Nodes, Cnodes and rigid location.

sure. it is connected to the vessel. So will move with the vessel.

Certainly it's true. What were you expecting to happen?

As for the support arrangement, the other poster is correct, you really want hard supports rather than springs. It is generally good practice to support the line from the column up high as close to the nozzle as you can to minimize differential expansion.

Why do you have that 180 u-bend up at the top?
