Hi:

When I model a Vessel or whatever as a rigid in Caesar, does the program consider it full of fluid, or I should add the weight of the fluid in the rigid weight?

I think your inside diameter and your fluid specific weigth in the Rigid Element give the weight.
Set to zero and you havent weight.
Have the Vessel inside any Components, and you have the Mass the fluid from the Vessel, then do it the fluid weight to the rigid
element.

You really don't want to call the "vessel elements" rigid - especially if the vessel is a vertical tower. The reason for this is that if you put loads on the vessel (such as wind), it won't experience any deflection if you called it rigid.

This statement is incorrect, see the additional post below! When you designate an element as rigid, c2 does not perform any weight computations for the element - you define the total element weight, which should include any internal fluid.

Richard-you better be wrong about the fluid inside rigid elements. This can be quite significant for larger valves. From the CII user guide page 5-6:

"When the rigid element weight is entered, i.e., not zero, CAESAR II computes any extra weight due to insulation and contained fluid, and it adds it to the user-entered weight value." ...

Ahhhh, Bob you're right. I guess I shouldn't try to answer these posts until after I've had my coffee.

Yes CAESAR II computes the fluid weight for rigid elements, and adds this value to the weight you specify. There is also the "insulation factor" of 1.75 which is applied to rigid elements. This is the weight insulation on a standard pipe of the specified OD with the defined insulation thickness, multiplied by a factor of 1.75.
