That is hard to say. I'm working my way through it now, but Appendix E has some mistakes, and I haven't managed to connect all the dots yet.

I don't want to guess any sort of time frame, because it would be a guess.

No, what I mean is that there are mistakes in Addendum 4. For example, take a look at E.6.2.2.3 (bottom left hand side of page E-14), the equation in US Customary units. The equation in the Code reads:

FC = 106 * ts / D

This is incorrect, it should be:

FC = 10**6 * ts / D

The "6" should be an exponent. This is evident by (a) looking at the prior Addendum, and (b) by noting the sentence preceeding the equations (which uses 10**6).

Also note in this same Code section, the second form of the equation for FC, the term under the "radical sign" should only be "G * H", not "G*H<0.5Fty".

There are also paragraphs that reference non-existant figures, and other non-existant paragraphs.

Addendum 4 Update:

I've finished coding both Appendix E and Appendix V for Addendum 4. The next major technical change is to rework the computations for Section 3.11 which also changed. Once this has been completed the input, help, and documentation needs to be revised. This will be followed by QA and beta test.

If all goes well, and we don't release until all of the above mentioned items are completed, the release is still 2 months away - say mid-June. If problems occur, the release will be delayed.

The eratta for Addendum 4 is due from API very shortly. I don't know exact date, but it was announced at last committee meeting in Seattle earlier this month.

Latest Status Report:

The program (TANK 3.00) is pretty much finished, just cleanup, verification and documentation changes remain.
