G'day folks! Arghhh!!! Is there a way of archiving a stress analysis that has already passed the error checke and batch run? I just revisited an old project and it is asking me to rerun the anlsis again.

Additional to this is that I am looking at the Version 5 Application guide Tutorial A. It says on page 8-29 (last para) to save the following files in order to get the archive: *._a, *._p and *.otl. Where do I get these from or are these now obsolete? The only thing that I seem tobe able to save is a *.out file.

1) If you change the input, your results are invalid. CAESAR II doesn't know this, so we set things up so that if you Error Check the input, the software deletes all the output. (Anything else and you'd erroneously use the output that doesn't go with the input.) This is why the software is asking you to re-run, there is no output.

2) "Yes" and "No". Version 5.00 zips all the component files into the "CAESAR II" archive. This is really the only job file you need to save now. The documentation for the component files is still there, because the files still exist (in the archive) and in the directory when a CAESAR II module is running.

Thanks Richard! I thought for a minute there I was going to have to re-run all the analysis.
