Regarding the Flange Leakage Calculation module, when a multiplier (K factor) for the B16.5 allowable value is used, the increased value is used for the stress verifications, but not for the equivalent pressure verification.

Since the ASME Section III, subparagraph NB-3647 allows a maximum stress value of 1.5SM, is there a reason to show SM instead of KSM on Equivalent Pressure Model?

Regards,

The "equivalent pressure model" is a straight look-up from ANSI B16.5. This value is an estimated "MAWP" based on the modulus of the flange material. This value has nothing to do with stresses or leakage.
