I am having weight issues in Caesar II with Metric unit config file (mm.fil).
The weight in Cadworx is in KG, but the weight is converted into a much less Newton weight. eg, I used 4" 600# flange in Cadworx model(metric units). I imported the pcf into Caesar II, it weights 65 Newton(=14.62 lbs). For the same model I created with imperial unit, the weight is 32 lbs(=142 Newton) after it is imported into Caesar II V12 version imperial unit config.

I am not sure if it is an issue with my config file only or the setting for importing Metric into Caesar is not functioning. I reviewed the unit file and looks fine with the Utility tool.
Did anyone meet this issue before? The valves and flanges are just half the standard weights after conversion. Right now I have to convert the weights manually to get correct results.

I have attached 2 pcf files that I created, one is metric, the other is imperial.

Hope someone can give me a hint. Thanks.

Unfortunately this is a real problem. Caesar will try to convert again the weight so the final weight will be about the half of the real value.

Thanks,Dan.
I found a way to cheat it,but I am not comfortable about this.
I tried to create a new Unit file from MM.fil with the Utility tool by 2.2X lbs to Newton conversion factor, then used it in Config file and import the pcf. I got the correct weight.

I think that you need to be careful wit this because once you created the file like this, it will maintain the conversion factor for anything else. What if you insert a new valve?

For some reasons, Caesar consider that the weight in pcf is expressed in lbs
