Hello All,

Is there a way to check local displacement on Caesar?

Currently, I am analyzing a skewed line and the displacement is quite large, so I want to check if the pipe will fall off its support.

I can do a manual calculation yes, but I am hoping anyone can advise a simpler and quicker method.

I am thinking of placing a guide with a gap in the rest supports, and adjusting guides accordingly. Once the guide takes load that means the pipe has moved as much as the gap distance.

There is a utility called "GlobalToLocal" that should help you out with this task. Ask Tech Support for this, it used to be on the website ...
