I am trying hard to understand what is "bend axial shape" in Configuration file. CII help has put some light on it, but not much. When and where to use this option and why? Please help

This option (when used) adds an additional term to some of the equations used to formulate the bend element stiffness matrix. Use this, it makes the analysis more accurate.

The only reason this option is there, so you can turn it off, is to benchmark against older stress programs that did not include this term.
