I understand that ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 A06 became mandatory on July 1, 2006. I am running the May build of PVElite and it still shows it's using A05. Is a new build coming soon that will show A06?

The 06 ASME addenda is mandatory 6 months after its date of issue. PV Elite 2007 will have the new changes incorporated and should ship in December. You will need to use the new addenda on all new work contracted after January 1, 2007.
