I am an occasional user of PV Elite so not fimiliar with all the gremlins in the system. However I am having problems as discribed below:

My vessel consists of two different dia shells connected with a conical section.

When I insert my nozzles it appears that the two different shells are using different orientation setups for the layout angles of my nozzles.

For example if I model nozzle 1 in the top shell with a layout angle of 90°, and then model nozzle 2 in my bottom shell with a layout angle of 90°, and then view the plan from the top, they do not appear at the same orientation. Is this a graphical error? I am no longer sure where in space my nozzles are.

Hi Itchy,

This morning I set up a model as you described. This was a vertical segment comprised of a cylinder - cone - cylinder. A nozzle at 90 deg was located on the top and bottom cylinders. Both the 2D and 3D graphics seem to render the model correctly.

You could submit your model directly to us for further evaluation. Then perhaps we can sort this problem out for you.
