Is it mandatory to break the intermediate node between supports for accurate prediction of natural frequency in Continuous support span?

Mandatory - no. Good Practice - yes.

Run the model both ways and compare the frequencies and mode shapes.

I have Run both the model for Modal analysis.

Result are different.

Natural Frequency is less when I break intermediate nodes.

Which one I need to follow.

I would use the model with the finer mesh (more node points).
