Hi everyone I deal with offshore projects and for piping stress analysis I have to input the sagging and hogging displacements in every point of support. Typing all the displacements is very time consuming. There is anyway to import the displacement values? Or copy in any way?

Yes,
there is an option to import displacement from a file.
If you are using CAESAR II 10.0 or later, this works with cnodes too.

While in the Piping Input, pull down the "Tools" menu and select the option to "Import/Export Displacements". This feature is discussed in the documentation.

Hello Mr. Richard Ay

I try to use the "Create Data Matrix Input to Import in to CAESAR II" but I can not view the pipeline.

This matrix only operate by Data Matrix Input or Import by CSV file or dsp file?

Thanks for your time and guidance.

REgards, Randolf

Marcel,

The "data matrix" input is a flat text file. DO NOT put "tabs" in the file, use spaces. If the problem persists, please open a Support Request on Smart Support and send in your (data matrix) file.
