I have pipes having "custom" diameters and thickness.

example:

A "classic" pipe 2" Sch.40 is 60.3mm diameter and 3.91mm thickness.

But i have a "custom" 2" pipe having 60.7mm diameter and 4.13mm thickness.

QUESTION1)
Is it possible to insert a diameter (es: 2, meaning 2") and obtaining "60.7mm"?

QUESTION2)
Is it possible to insert a diameter (es: 2, meaning 2") and obtaining "60.7mm" AND automatically also a thickness 4.13 mm?

I'll go out on a limb and say no.

But I think the easiest way to create the model might be to allow CAESAR to plug in standard values, and then to a find and replace on the spreadsheet.

it would be useful to add to caesar a "config" file, a text file containing 3 text columns, something as

inch diameter thickness
2 60.7 4.13

where caesar takes these values if find a "inch" data here.

The use of "nominal" values can be turned off by creating a custom units file - just set the setting for "Nominals" to "Off".

With nominal values turned off, you can enter any numeric value you want in the diameter and thickness fields and CAESAR II will simply accept those values without alteration.

yes, i know.
i was only thinking it would be better to be able to insert a size (example 2") and obtain automatically diameter and thickness according to a text file in caesar directory.

more quick and less mistakes if you have maaany different sizes and thickness in the same model
