Is it possible to have a look for the load case editor as under ( of course in next versions or patches)-

Refer attachment , it is a sample which does not cover all vector combinations ( like W+P , W+P+T1 etc.)-
1. The top row shows case numbers
2. The leftmost column lists few vectors
3. For any case - in the corresponding column the vectors which form the load case are identified by putting 1.
4. The vectors which are left out here also can be included like W, P, T1, T2 etc. by making separate rows and new columns can be added for combinations .
5. Further the editor can have sections on same page like one section only for temperature vectors , one for inertia vectors, one for displacement vectors and then sections for combinations . These combinations can be separated out based on OPE, OCC, EXP etc case type. This will segregate the cases based on type of vector combination.
6. Present editor gives more jitters to the user than helps him make cases ( in lighter vein)....
7. Same philosophy can be used for dynamic analysis when the case combination option is made available there. ( I had put a post for that requirement of case combinations in dynamic analysis long back)

7. Feel the attached form is user friendly.

This is almost exactly what is happening behind the scenes of the current load case editor. The user interface hides the "1s" and "blanks" to hopefully make things more obvious.

Are you aware that you can take the current column titles drag them to the top of the window to make categories? You can also use those "filter icons" to create subsets of the load cases (for viewing and modification).

There is also the "group edit" view, which permits the modification of groups of load cases that meet a selection criteria. CAESAR II Version 11 also allows the import and export of load case data from/to Excel. Review the template for this, I think it will address everything you suggest.

It was just about presentation. Present load case editor looks or appears bit complicated.
Thx .
