Currently have issues where having "Compress CAESAR II File" activated results in various crashes when running analysis on large files.

The analysis runs, but crashes when you try to re-open the results from the graphics screen. Deactivating it fixes the issue.

Is this a known issue?

This issue was reported and the compression/decompression routines were improved in v.11 (CAESAR II 2019). Earlier versions addressing large output files could run into memory allocation problems. Until you move to v.11 I suggest you turn off the compression activity (from Configuration\Miscellaneous).

Thanks Richard.

Are there any other workarounds other than disabling compression settings?

We won't be moving to 2019 for some time. This issue only seemed to present itself following upgrade to Windows 10.

The issue is the memory allocation combined with large output files - Windows 10 is just a coincidence. We changed this up quite a bit for v.11. I don't have a workaround for v.10.

Great thank you!

Should note that there were multiple users with this issue, all presenting themselves after the Win10 update.

I've installed 2019 to test it, and seems to work fine for me now.

However running the analysis on large models is still quite slow compared to pre-win10.
