Hi esteemed experts,
I'm studying ASME B31.4 and I have to follow a training about it.

Meanwhile I noticed that I can input inplane and outplane sif for branch and bend in Caesar 2018 when I select ASME B31.4 but I can't input outplane sif when I select ASME B31.4 Ch. IX (offshore liquid pipeline).

I can't find in ASME B31.4-2016 and in Caesar manual anything about that.

Please, can You explain me why there is this difference and which is outplane sif?

We are looking into this issue.

CII 2018 SP2 HF1 has the same issue and I tried to define inplane and outplane sif by "List input / Sif".

Perhaps it works.

Any comment is appreciated.

In v.10 (2018) there is a work-around for this problem. In the LIST for "SIFs/Tees" you can enter the out-of-plane SIF value, if necessary.

The problem is only on the dialog, with that one field being disabled.
