Esteemed experts,
as regards hangers in Caesar II 2018 SP2 and SP2 HF1, if I select "Extended range" or "Cold load" or "Hot centered load" the run stops and the following message appears:

FATAL ERROR # 1009
Select, INCORE.EXE hanger table value came into this routine that was out of the possible range. This error should have been found well before INCORE.EXE

Please, is it possible to avoid this issue?

Alessio,

Check all of the Hangers in the job for the selected Hanger Table. Often, this error comes up when the Hanger Table is Blank.

thanks for Your reply.

I noticed that when I select one of the above mentioned settings, Hanger table displays the selected manufacturer; instead after run stops and I open input the Hanger table is blank!

If I select manufacturer at this time, it seems that run works fine!

I noticed another issue:

- If I click on "Extended range", I can't engage this setting;

- Insted if I click on "Cold load", the setting engaged is "Extended range"; after second click on "Cold load", "Extende range" is disabled and "Cold load" is engaged;

- If I click on "Hot load centered", this setting is not engaged but both "Extended range and "Cold load" are engaged; after second click on "Hot load centered", "Extende range" is disabled and both "Cold load" and "Hot load centered" are engaged"; at the third click, both "Cold load" and "Hot centered load" are disabled and "Extended range" is engaged; at fourth click "Hot load centered" is engaged and the other settings are disabled.

Our three workstations feature this issue and the fatal error.

I made a mistake, i.e. run works fine if I re-select manufacturer after run stops and in the the job there is a spring hanger only.

If I have two spring hanger, run stops even if hanger table displays manufacturer.

Is it possible to solve this issue?

Smart Support stated that this issue is fixed in Caesar II 2019.

As regards Caesar II 2018 SP2 HF1, the following procedure should fix the issue:

- Go to "List input / Hanger";
- Select manufacturer on "Hanger table" as You need;
- Select "Extended range", "Cold load", "Hot load centered" as You need.

I tried it on my simple file featuring two hangers and it seems to work fine.

Check any other field in "List input / Hanger" so that it reflects Your need.
