A client would like us to use an overall design factor for hoop stress of 0.60 instead of 0.72 that is standard in B31.4. Is there a way to edit this in CAESAR II? If so, how is this accomplished? Thank you.

Is this B31.4 Chapter IX? If you select that flavor of B31.4 (there are three), you will see that you can select 0.60 or 0.72. You can even set a custom value.

Dave, thanks for the response. It is not chapter IX. I see the options you mentioned in 2017 but I should also note that I am using CAESAR II 2016 since it uses B31.4-2006 (to comply with 49CFR195).
