Dear Experts,

I have a small query regarding the temperature. Is there any possibility of copying temperatures from one case to another. For example, In my system I wanted to prepare a by-pass case for heat exchanger, for that I need to create an extra temp. case like T4.
In Autopipe, there is an option to copy the temperature and pressures from another case. Is there any similar way in Caesar to copy the temperatures from case T1 to T4.

If the entire system is all one temperature for each case (all 500F @ T1, all 750F @ T2, etc) then I think it'd be fairly simple to just copy the data into the first element of the new model and let it carry through. Then you could import your load cases if they're also the same.

If you have different branches within the model at different temperatures I don't think you'll be able to simply "import" those.

You may be able to open the elements tab and copy and paste one column to another. If not, then this would be the likely easiest place to replicate an existing temperature scheme through manual input.

As such, it's generally advised to have some sort of plan before routing your pipe to minimize inputs/errors.

Thanks for your valuable suggestion sir.

Yes, I have tried copying the temperatures from one column to other in Elements tab, but it is not working. The only option I am finding at present is to input manually all the temperatures.

Unfortunately you cannot copy/paste data in the Elements tab, I've asked that question before as well.

It is easier if you open the elements tab and have the two temperature sets in view, then you can easily insert the same temperature into the other field. Sometimes tiring if a lot of elements. When you activate the element tab, please turn off any graphical info such as temperature, pressure, thickness or other as it will result in continuous refresh and it will delay anything.
