Hi guys,

For Caesar ii 2018, how do you make the anchor size for rigid elements larger?

Thank you.

There is a small icon on the upper right of the screen showing an anchor. By pressing the arrow next to it you may select the size of the anchor

This of course will make all anchors bigger.

Do you mean make the graphical anchor icon larger in the model? Or changing it's properties to be more stiff?

For that one you increase the E, but I think it was about the size on graphics.

Regards,

Hi guys. thanks for all your reply.

Just the graphical icon on the model. It is difficult to see the anchor on the rigid elements because it is sooo small, and increasing the anchor size will increase the size on ALL the anchors in the model.

I just thought there is an option to increase the size of the anchor on the rigid elements only.

There is an option for the "restraint" in the configuration editor/graphics settings, that is "use fixed size restraints".

Maybe they can include "use fixed anchor size" on the next Caesar ii version, and also have "use fixed spring size" option for the springs too in the configuration/graphics settings.

you may do something like this: where you have the anchor, split the rigid without weight element in two, the one with the anchor being a small rigid element with very small weight. In this way the anchor will be as big as for an normal element of that size.
