It would be convenient if we could add specific verbiage to the load case editor to intelligently formulate load cases at the user's instruction.

For example, if the user types into L1:

W+(T1 thru T4)+P1

CAESAR reads this, calculates there will be 4 rows required, asks the user if they wish CAESAR to replace or insert rows, and then changes this input to, replacing what's already in those rows, or inserting rows as required:

W+T1+P1
W+T2+P1
W+T3+P1
W+T4+P1

Another example, if the user types into L1:
W+(T1 thru T4)+(P1 thru P4)

CAESAR asks "Additive or Multiplicative" and "replace or insert rows"

If additive, then we get 4 load cases...

W+T1+P1
W+T2+P2
W+T3+P3
W+T4+P4

If multiplicative, then we get 16 load cases...
W+T1+P1
W+T1+P2
W+T1+P3
...
W+T4+P2
W+T4+P3
W+T4+P4

Further, I would expand on this to mass alter stress types and combination methods. For example, the command:

(L2 thru L5) - L1 ..occ

would facilitate entry of 4 lines, and change them all to occasional.

(L7 thru L10) + L6 ..occ ..sca

would facilitate entry of 4 lines, change them all to occasional and scalar.

I will note that the "..max" tag would not add lines, but instead "add" the items into one line and change it to combination method max.

I'll copy these thoughts into a Change Request so these ideas get into the backlog.
