ASME Section VIII, Division 2, paragraph AD-201 contains formulae for the thickness of cylindrical shells. The only component in the formula requiring a reference to any tables would be the design stress 'S'. The value of 'S' is determined from ASME Section II, Part-D, Tables 2A and 2B.
If I have not understood the question correctly, please give me more informaiton.
