Hi,

I have a horizontal vessel with refectory insulation (inside), My purpose is to design the saddle support by considering seismic loads.

As I know the total weight of refectory material in the vessel, I would like to add this weight directly in Miscellaneous weight% of PV-eite Design Data Input.

Can anyone suggest me the correct way to resolve this (because adding in miscellaneous %, I need to calculate the % of the vessel weight then accordingly I have to convert the weight in miscellaneous %), which is complex to do everytime.

any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated, kindly give me some feedback.

As a simple suggestion, why not add a lining to the vessel using the correct density and thickness of refractory. It may be called 'lining', but it represents the refractory.
