I got a display error message when I want to start using my PVElite software. The error stated as below:

ERROR NUMBER 5333, FATAL ERROR #5333
No active NETHASP server was found. This applies to IPX and NetBios. HASP error code = 15

Can I know what is the problem? And how to solve it? Does this error related with my ESL key installation?

Please advice.

Hi Colin,

Please check the following:
  • Check both ESL and license manager drivers. The latest drivers can be downloaded from www.coade.com.
  • Make sure the client machine can see the server where the ESL attached.
  • Check if the license manager is running.
  • Last but not least, make sure the ESL itself attached firmly to the server.

I came cross the same problem as you that because I am using WINDOW XP home edition. My agent replace a White Hardware Lock and the problem has been solved.
