I am designing Optional type flange in PV Elite. Flange configuration is Fig. 2-4 (8). My question is that, should I consider the weld at the back of flange as a hub. or keep hub dimensions go, g1 and h=0.

Hello Rajendra,

If you included the weld at the back of the hub the optional type flange will be analysed as an integral type flange. Be careful in defining go and gi. It would appear to me that the shell thickness should be included. Please read the nomenclature for the definition of gi and go. Please also read 2-4(c).
