slug flow at cv downstream, can we electrically trace ?

We are facing two phase flow vibration at control valve downstream.

Has any one in our forum tried electricall trace piping including control valve to avoid vibration by avoiding disturbing two phase (plug/slug) regime before?

We should have put piping downstream with rigid support at equipment inlet nozzle itself, which we had not done.

reg,
sam

The only way it would be acceptable in my mind is if there is a way to detect failure of the tracing and shut in the line.

Otherwise, you're back to square one: designing for slug flow, but now with electric tracing in the way.
