One of the more common configurations for vacuum stiffener rings, at least on large diameter vessels, is a "T" ring fabricated from a hard-way bar, or plate, as the web and an easy-way bar, or plate, as the flange.

PVElite doesn't currently support this configuration. Can it be added to the available types of vacuum stiffener rings?

Tom,

PVElite has always provided for the "T" type stiffener rolled the "hard" way. This is the third icon in the set. Positioning the mouse over the radio button will provide a tool tip relating this.

In version 5.0, we have provided a "T" section positioned the easy way.

Thanks Ray

I am awair of the T stiffener option in PVElite as a structural section. That is not what I requested be added. What I am asking for is a T configuration made of seperate pieces of plate or bar for the flange and web. Input of the sizes of these pieces would be required seperately. This is a common configuration for vessels 15' and larger diameter.

Thanks & Best Regards
