CAESAR currently requests that we specify the location of the first node of the first element of a contiguous string of elements.
Request 1: It would be helpful if we could instruct CAESAR to place an arbitrary node at a specific point and then have the rest of the model adjust to conform to it.
Request 2: It would be helpful that if you delete the first element(s) in a run of pipe that CAESAR ask you to use the current coordinates for the existing new first element.
Request 3: Understanding that in enacting the previous request could result in several floating sections of piping that should be connected but aren't, this could be helped in the following ways:
• A feature that looks at coordinates of all node numbers and identifies differing node numbers with very close proximity that are not connected via CNODEs.
• A feature that looks at free ends of pipe and draws an indicator, either as 3Dish geometry or 2d text overlay.
Thanks.
