Hi All,

To avoid using several models for the same piping system where the Temperature, pressure and density changes for some cases. Is it possible to put several densities in the same model? for example:
Case 1 I will use T1, P1 and density 1.
CASE 2: P2, T2 and Density 2.

Im using Caesar II 5.30.03 (I Know that it's an very old version but I have to use it because my client is using the same version.)

The fileds density 2; density 3 and Hydro Den are not activated on the inputs. How can I activate theses fields. Thanks in advance for your help.

Rds,

At present time, no. There is only operating fluid density (W) and water filled weight (WW). I'm sure W1, W2, W3, etc. are on their list of updates.

HI Michael,

Thanks for your answer.

Is there a way to change the WW density? I checked on the options but I can't find a way to change it.

Water density is fixed in CAESAR II.

You may use some simple math:

if you have two densities a and b, since fluid weight is W-WNC then
you may construct the loadcases as follows

L1=a(W-WNC) + WNC + T1 + P1 or aW + (1-a)WNC + T1 +P1

and for b

L2=b(W-WNC) + WNC + T2 + P2 or bW + (1-b)WNC + T2 +P2

Example a=0.7 water density and b=0.65 water density

your loadcases become

L1=0.7W+0.3WNC+ T1 + P1
L2=0.65W+0.35WNC + T2 +P2
