Dear Jayaraj,
A typical component design may involve satisfying many requirements such as thickness due to hoop stress (from internal pressure), external pressure, and others such as discontinuity stress check for a cone-cylinder junction, area of reinforcement and strength of weld check for a nozzle. The MAWP due to hoop stress (internal pressure) is usually reported. In some cases, the MAWP calculation procedure is non-linear e.g. area of reinforcement check for a nozzle. There are other cases, in where due to the complexity involved, MAWP is not computed.
So, to make sure the component passes all the checks at MAWP, perform a second run in which enter the MAWP as the design pressure and check all the requirements.
