Hello all,
I was trying to do the hanger examples(Pipe and hanger supported from vessel,pg 72) given in the application guide of CAESAR II.
I made the vessel as very big pipe and tried to have a structural model of V shape as given i the example. from then i dont know how to put a hanger and a pipe at the bottom.
Am i doing it wrong ? i think so as i am new to this software.
Can anybody help me in this.

Thanks

In CAESAR II, spring hangers have zero length. For this example, you can model a rod (1" pipe with 1/2" wall thickness) from that structural support down to the pipe. Put the hanger between the rod and the pipe (at the bottom).

It worked. but the rod and pipe connection is missing there.
