Hello everyone,
1.I have a silencer between my compressor discharge nozzle and my piping end.
2.Silencer is coming under vendor scope, still he wants us to check loads on both compressor discharge nozzle and Silencer nozzle.
3.Silencer rests on a spring and has a weight of 840kg. Silencer is just looks like a 14" pipe. I want to use the flexibility of silencer and at the same time i want to feed the weight as 840 kg. If i model the silencer as pipe of 14", i could not get an equivalent weight.
What should I do?

Either way, you can adjust fluid density to get the silencer weight.
