Hi All, Just for clarity the Wave data to be checked at each node to apply for the whole model or by mentioning free surface elevation(submerged) will make it apply at all nodes if we mentioned in the load case to include wave for the whole model.

Wave loads are turned on or off by entries under Wind/Wave in the input processor. This is a "carry forward" item in the input - it remains active on following elements until the values are again entered. Free surface elevation will affect the magnitude of the load.

Thanks Dave, So, is there a way to stop the wave load at certain node before the model completes(end node). Let's say like 10-100(Wind/Wave load applied); 101-150(not applied); and 150-200(Wind/Wave applied).

My understanding is free surface elevation is for buoyancy load to act on the node wrt elevation. Can you please be more elaborative on this. Thanks.

Element 10-20 ..... 90-100 wave loads to be applied:
- check the wind/wave checkbox on 10-20 only, specify wave, then define the wave data during load case setup.

Element 101-110 ..... 140-150 wave loads are not to be applied:
- check the wind/wave checkbox on 101-110 only, specify OFF

Element 150-160 ..... 190-200 wave loads to be applied:
- check the wind/wave checkbox on 150-160, specify wave, the wave data setup during load case definition will apply.

If there are additional elements following 190-200 they will assume this last wave loading.
