All,

I have found many posts relating to dynamic Spectrum data, however I have found none relating to how to upload your own data using the "Read from File..." button in the Spectrum GUI.

Does anyone have a method (or a simple button click procedure) for saving a two column .xlsx file (I pasted the values from an equation so they are simply numbers) into a format that Caesar II likes?

I have created and exported an IBC spectrum file for the sake of comparison, but I am uncertain of its form and the number of data points would prohibit me from just inserting my data into the IBC spectrum file.

Thank you in advance,
Daniel

I believe your Excel file will place a tab between your two columns. CAESAR II is looking for a space.
I haven't checked this but I would suggest concatenating those two columns with a space between them(i.e., =CONCATENATE(column1," ", column2). Then copy and paste the result into a .txt file and give that .txt file to CAESAR II.

The format of the file: any two numbers on a line separated by at least one space; any line starting with an asterisk will be ignored (as a comment).
