3 people in my group are having problems with Caesar files. While building and running a file all of a sudden the input is completely gone. When emailing files a different file is received or an earlier version. Also some files cannot be opened. FYI we usually work on a network drive.
Is there a fix for this problem and also how many other people are having the same problem?

We have had several reports of lost input files. We are working on the problem - but so far we have been unable to reproduce this. If we can't reproduce the problem, we can't fix it.

The common thread (so far) seems to be running on a network drive.

We need to know the exact steps necessary to reproduce this problem.

Just as a note, in our files we sometimes find that although the CII file has disappeared, there is still a ._A file, so it may be worth checking for that one as well.

"Disappearing ._A files don't bother me as long as there is a .CAESAR II file created in it's place.

CAESAR II V5.00 cleans up the folder where you are running CAESAR II by collecting all of the many files associated with a single job (e.g. job1._a, job1._j, job1._p, etc.) and "zipping" them up into the smaller and more portable .CAESAR II file (i.e. job1.CAESAR II). You can see this take place when you open and close a CAESAR II file.

The problem that we are addressing is when these files don't move where they are supposed to move.
