Studding outlets are used to connect equipment like agitators etc. to vessels. These are bolted down through the nozzle as shown in Ray's illustration above. Since the metal is absent it cannot be accounted for in the area calculation. If you have a studding outlet be sure and calculate the missing area and enter it in to the field. Review the help screen for this cell by pressing F1 when the cursor is on the "Tapped hole area loss" field.
