Please clarify the imput TAPPED HOLE AREA LOSS in the nozzle imput data dialog.
I do not understand where this value has to be zero or when to leave the default value delivery program

Those tapped holes are not available for reinforcement of the nozzle. So, if you know the area of those holes, you ignore them in the calculation. I hope this helps you.

Studding outlets are used to connect equipment like agitators etc. to vessels. These are bolted down through the nozzle as shown in Ray's illustration above. Since the metal is absent it cannot be accounted for in the area calculation. If you have a studding outlet be sure and calculate the missing area and enter it in to the field. Review the help screen for this cell by pressing F1 when the cursor is on the "Tapped hole area loss" field.

tn is “0” as per Figure UG-40 (a-1). I have selected abutting nozzle option.

What shall be entered for tn value?

How it will consider te value?

I didn’t see these in output calculations.
