I am training two new guys how to use Caesar and hopefully they will also gain some stress engineering skills up along the way.
(I would preffer to say that i am training two guys to become stress engineers, but that is a big statement)
Anyway, during a recent rant about self learning, i suggested they look at the Coade reference list and purchase a few essential books.
This lead me to google Kelloggs/Casti/Roark etc for a demonstration of the oportunities to purchase second hand books.
which, leads me at last to my point......
during the summer, i purchased Kelloggs from ABE books for a reasonable price. there was alot of choice, although expensive.
Now today, the Kelloggs books have all disapeared!
I can't find a single one on the net...
And look at the price asked for Tom Van's pipe support book £1000!!!
I can only put it down to the recent surge in new pipe stress engineers.
these guys must have lots of money!
Tim
